Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has dismissed speculation of a summer move to West Bromwich Albion for striker Troy Deeney, with reports over the weekend suggesting a £20m price.
Mazzarri insisted Deeney remains settled, saying: “We are not interested in these stories, they are just rumours. I do not want to think about these things.
“He has always been happy and nothing has changed.
“Ten weeks from the end of the season I am not thinking about that (transfers).
“We have 27 points until the end of the season and all we need to think about is treating every game as a final. The manager makes his choices and the players need to follow.”
